A chair meant to embody devotion, brotherhood, and a duty lasting generations. Made from poplar wood and finished in amber shellac, it is meant to mimic the materials used in the French 1700s Partisans’ swords. Further encouraging themes of intimacy, the sitter is invited to hold the finely carved hand printing as they recline in the chair, feeling everyone who has left their mark before and setting a new feel for those to come.
